Lesley Bamberger in Parool about the Kalverpassage and our upcoming Light Artwork

Kroonenberg Groep has started with the transformation of the Kalvertoren to a renewed shopping area. The transformation has largely been completed in the Fall of 2017 and punctuated with a new name: ‘Kalverpassage’.

Arttenders embarks on an exciting new project in collaboration with the Kroonenberg Groep. The renewed Kalverpassage is a magnificent shopping experience slash art destination on the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam. On behalf of Kroonenberg Groep we are realizing an artwork for this renewed retail area.

LIGHT ARTWORK

Kroonenberg Groep opts for a striking element with added value to this building and in their search encountered triangular LED screens. These screens have been tailored to fit the Kalverpassage and can be driven independently as well as in symbiosis with each other.

For this prestigious transformation of the Kalverpassage, a high-end artwork as an addition to this location is key. Kroonenberg Groep has commissioned a site-specific artwork to make the Kalverpassage a distinctive shopping location in the area. Please keep an eye on this website and our social media-channels for a big reveal of the artist we’re collaborating with!
