In order to highlight the shared meeting rooms, artist Roel van Eekelen created Geometric Compositions. The shapes are inspired by the geometric names allocated to each room by Kraaijvanger Architects. Van Eekelen experimented freely by folding paper, thus highlighting these spaces with an abstract interpretation.
Roel van Eekelen’s work is a synthesis of a meticulous simplicity and a sprightly grace. His drawings and prints, as well as his dimensional works are characterized by light-heartedness and humor.
About the Art at Work Projects
The Art at Work Project consists of a series of creative spaces in the CIC offices in Rotterdam. These spaces are customized by various artists in collaboration with Arttenders through different forms of applied arts. This creates immersive and inspirational rooms, where entrepreneurs can meet, be inspired, work and socialize.
