In May of this year, Arttenders launched a national advertising campaign to celebrate 40 years of glass recycling. Together with Studio Lernert & Sander and hiphop formation De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig the campaign 40 Jaar Glasbak – Lekker Bezig! was a big success. Recently it even won second prize in the Grand Prix Content Marketing Awards!

Nedvang decided to round up this festive year with a campaign to celebrate the glasbak during the holidays. With this closing campaign Nedvang wants to emphasize the urgency of glass recycling and create extra awareness around re-using and recycling glass. Arttenders has proposed Lieke Janssen as a perfect fit for this specific enquiry.

About Lieke Janssen

Lieke’s work is handmade, playful and surrealistic with a conceptual and social character. Her visual language is clear with joyful use of color. Therefore, her application of mixed media and her clear signature make her the perfect artist to visualize this campaign and render it through various means. Although she graduated at the Willem de Kooning Academy in 2015, her clientele already consists of many major brands en national media such as HEMA, &C Magazine, NRC and De Morgen. Renate van Roosmalen (Communications advisor Nedvang): ‘Important factors that we see in Janssen’s work, looking back on the previous campaign are a sense of humor, playfulness, fun, and simplicity. Besides that, we feel her work is a great fit for the holidays.

We are looking forward to working with Lieke Janssen and can’t wait to reveal the final results.
