Today was the second day of De Gouden Glasbak on Tour! Yesterday we toured Amsterdam with Fred van Leer. This time we took presenter Shelly Sterk for a ride in Den Haag to collect glass and raise awareness around glass recycling.
To celebrate the campaign 40 Jaar Glasbak – Doe Het Lekker Zelf we took De Gouden Glasbak to the streets. The golden glass recycling bin made its first appearance in the music video Glasbak by De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, as part of our campaign earlier this year to celebrate 40 years of glass recycling in The Netherlands.

New Year’s Resolutions at your front door
January is all about fresh beginnings and New Year’s resolutions. Perhaps you’re done letting those glass jars and bottles pile up? Well, the people in Den Haag (NL) were indeed lucky! De Gouden Glasbak came to their front door, accompanied by presenter Shelly Sterk, so they could throw away the bottles that were emptied on New Year’s Eve.
